FAITH THAT GROWS STRONGER
Faith That Grows Stronger
Scripture:
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17, NKJV)
Faith isn’t something that stays the same—it grows. Just like muscles are strengthened through exercise, faith is built up when we use it, feed it, and stretch it. God never intended for our faith to remain weak or stagnant. Instead, He designed it to grow stronger as we walk with Him.
Think about a seed. At first, it looks small and insignificant. But when planted, watered, and given light, it grows into something much bigger than what it started as. Our faith works the same way. It starts as a seed, but with the right care—hearing God’s Word, praying, and obeying—it grows stronger, bolder, and more fruitful.
Encouragement
When challenges come, don’t be discouraged if your faith feels small. Remember, Jesus said even faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains (Matthew 17:20). The key is not how big your faith feels, but where it’s rooted. A little faith in a big God is enough to change everything.
Over time, as you continue to hear God’s Word and apply it, your faith will develop endurance. You’ll look back one day and realize the things that once scared you no longer shake you—because your faith has grown stronger.
Application
- Feed your faith daily. Spend time in God’s Word, even just a few verses a day, to strengthen your spirit.
- Exercise your faith. Take small steps of obedience—pray bold prayers, encourage someone, give generously, or trust God in a new area.
- Track your growth. Keep a journal of answered prayers and ways God has shown Himself faithful. Looking back will remind you how far your faith has come.
Faith isn’t about never struggling—it’s about growing stronger as you walk through struggles with God. Each trial you overcome is an opportunity for your faith to deepen.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for giving me the gift of faith. Help me to feed it with Your Word, exercise it through obedience, and trust You in every season. Grow my faith so that I may walk with boldness and confidence in You. Amen.
